Ethernet/NIC Card
Most computers are now supplied with an Ethernet Card/Drive or NIC Card. If you don't have an Ethernet Card/Drive or NIC Card, you can purchase one with your EMBARQ online order or buy one from your local computer retailer.
Buying from EMBARQ:
SELF-INSTALLATION: You can purchase the NIC/Ethernet card as part of your online order for $24.99. Installation is easy - it is similar to installing a printer or scanner.
PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION: An Ethernet card is supplied by EMBARQ if you choose the professional full-installation. There is a one-time additional charge of $99 for professional installation.
Buying from a retailer:
When purchasing your Ethernet/NIC card from a retailer, you should purchase a 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet Card.
