EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features are a unique set of features that provide seamless integration between your home and wireless phones.How do EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features work?
These consist of:
- Find-Me Follow-Me
- Incoming Call-Transfer
The Find-Me Follow-Me service allows you to configure a sequence of 3 additional phone numbers (called the "Ring List") to be called when calls are made to your home. Therefore, any call to your home can also reach you on your wireless phone (or your office phone, etc.).
The Incoming Call-Transfer capability allows you to transfer "live" calls from your home phone to your wireless phone without interrupting the call.EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features are added to your EMBARQ® Voicemail account. Therefore, you must be an EMBARQ® Voicemail customer in order to subscribe to EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features.How do I get EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features?
When EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features are turned on (you have the option to turn on/off), incoming calls to your home number are directed to the phone numbers listed by you for your Find-Me Follow-Me service.
Once a call to your home number has been answered on any phone on your Find-Me Follow-Me ring list, you can transfer a "live" call between phones listed on the Call Transfer list (defined by you) by pressing the appropriate transfer access code.
For example, you would press *96 to transfer a call from your home phone to your wireless phone.Contact EMBARQ® customer service and ask to have EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features added to your account.Will I have to purchase or add special equipment for EMBARQ® Integrated Calling Features?
Once activated, the set up can be done online.
