What do we expect from our call center sales and service
representatives?

We expect commitment, professionalism and a consistent positive attitude in addition to providing world-class levels of customer service and sales. This job can be challenging at times – but if you thrive on consistently overcoming obstacles and achieving goals, we are interested in talking with you.

What’s the nature of the job?

When an EMBARQ customer has a problem, a need or just a general question, they usually call us. That’s where this job comes in. Being on the front lines of customer sales and service, call center representatives at EMBARQ are absolutely essential to our success. If you enjoy solving problems and presenting new solutions to customers in a structured environment, this may be the position for you.

Some of our call center positions strictly take incoming calls, others proactively call out, while others do a combination of both. We design a path to enable you to expand your skills within these areas. Look in Career Opportunities for Consumer Solutions Rep, Outbound Rep I, Inside Sales or similarly related positions in areas near you. Our call centers are located in various states - Florida, the Carolinas, Oregon, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio and more.

After applying you’ll take an online test that will assess your overall fit for the job. Based on your background and test results you will be contacted for an interview. During the interview you’ll be asked questions centered on our core values of competitiveness, innovation, teamwork and integrity.
